Two Savannah, GA marines were arrested yesterday for severely beating a gay man.   Keil Cronauer and Christopher Stanzel are accused of beating Kieran Daly to the point where he suffered  bruises to the brain and two seizures immediately after the attack.

Cronauer and Stanzel claimed that Daly was harassing them and accused him of winking at them.

Daly denied the accusation and claims that he was squinting.  Daly also claimed that one hurled gay slurs toward him.

There is currently an FBI investigation underway to determine if a federal hate crime was broken.  Georgia is one of five states in the US that does not hold severe penalties for hate crimes.
