On Thursday night (March 12), rap fans rushed to New York City’s Webster Hall, the landing site for Travi$ Scott and Young Thug’s Rodeo tour.

The southern duo performed back to back shows–one that kicked off at 8 PM, the other at 11 PM. Both were an absolute zoo, and we mean that in the best way possible.

Oddly enough, Scott and Thugga share a polarizing affect on their listeners, and have seen a fair amount of critiques from detractors saying they have no shelf life. But last night’s show was the best possible argument for those who think the opposite.

An introductory set from Metro Boomin, one of the game’s most promising young producers, and Scott’s DJ, Chase B, opened up the crowd. Then came Thug’s performance, during which he rocked the house with hits like “Lifestyle,” “Givenchy,” and even brought out Birdman.

Anyone who’s seen Scott on stage knows that he’s one of the most energetic performers in the game. Living up to that legacy, he ran through songs from his phenomenal 2014 free album Days Before Rodeo. He also invited Wale out as a surprise guest.

See some recap footage below.
