The selfie stick is the remedy when your arms are too short to box with the selfie gods. Sadly, for some, Coachella and Lollapalooza goers are banned from using them on festival grounds.
Brooklyn Vegan reports that selfie sticks are listed as “prohibited items” at both festivals. And this news comes just 12 days prior to Coachella’s annual invasion of Indio, Calif.
Lollapalooza simply banned the monopod, while Coachella’s FAQs page says no “Selfie sticks / Narsisstics [sic]”.
The better question, at this point, is how the powers that be plan of enforcing this.
