A Georgia mom allegedly wrote that every White cop should be shot, on Facebook Monday (April 27), and was promptly arrested for making threats.  Authorities are on high alert in wake of the Baltimore protests and other riots spawned by police involved shootings of unarmed Black men, so they swarmed Ebony Dickens pretty quickly. The FBI, Homeland Security the NYPD, and the local districts attorney’s office all assisted in the arrest.

Dickens, of  Eastpoint, Ga. is accused of writing: “All black people should stand up and shoot every White cop in the nation starting NOW.  I condone black on white killings. Hell they condone crime against us.”

Dickens allegedly posted under the alias Tiffany Milan. She also reportedly wrote, “I thought about shooting every white cop I see in the head until I’m either caught by the police or killed by them… Might kill at least 15 tomorrow, I’m plotting now.”

The post was removed by the next day, just before she was arrested. Atlanta’s WSB-TV 2 shared the post on their Facebook page and then removed it and contacted the FBI, and Atlanta police.

Authorities obtained a search warrant and seized a computer, a cell phone, and a gun from Dickens’ condo. “I’m shocked. I just can’t believe my neighbor would do something like that,” said a neighbor. “[It’s] very dangerous and kind of careless of her to even put something like that on Facebook. That’s scary. I just can’t believe she did that.”

East Point police Lt. Cliff Chandler said that Dickens didn’t expect the swift raid and arrest that took less than a day. “I don’t think she anticipated that we would respond as quickly as we did.”

Dickens is locked up in the Fulton County Jail. She is charged with disseminating information related to terrorist acts via computer. Her bond is set at $10,000.
