Critics of the ex-Governor of Illinois Rod Blagojevich are stewing now that audio was presented in court of the ousted official mulling over the idea of asking Oprah Winfrey to fill the Senate seat left vacant by President Obama.

Prosecutors presented a secretly recorded conversation of Blagojevich and his former chief of staff John Harris Monday, where he refers to Winfrey as a “kinghead” and says that Obama’s successor must be Black to help him reel in Black votes if he decides to run for office again.

“She made Obama, she’s up there so high nobody could assail this pick.”

He also heard on tape telling his chief to look out of state for a possible candidate and says,

“You know, you got like a black Albert Einstein or something…”

When Harris throws out the name former Press Secretary Cheryle Jackson, the ex-Governor is heard on the tape shouting.

“There’s no (expletive) way!” and he deems her a “(expletive) incompetent.”

On the recordings which come courtesy of the FBI, he’s also heard mulling about the option of appointing Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr. because he’s “Uber African-American.”

Blagojevich has pleaded not guilty to scheming to getting a massive campaign contribution in return for appointing someone to the Obama Senate seat.

He also has pleaded not guilty to plotting to use the powers of the governor’s office to launch a racketeering scheme.

Before his impeachment he appointed llinois Attorney General Roland Burris to Obama’s former position.
