Exclusive: Boosie Talks Rick Ross Arrest, Says Hip-Hop Police Are Real [VIDEO]

In case you have been ducking and dodging reality, Boosie Badazz a.k.a. Lil Boosie’s latest Touchdown was worth the full six points when he debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 Charts.

Hip-Hop Wired was in the mix at the Atlantic Records and TIDAL’s BET Awards after party and decided to get an update on how the game has updated around the Louisianimal.

For starters the dominance of Instagram and other social media weren’t key factors to an album release when Boosie’s legal troubles began to surmount circa 2008. However, he can already attest to the power of an IG post getting his concerts filled up and what not.

Additionally, Boosie also went out on a limb to defend Rick Ross, who missed all of the BET festivities (and money) due to his incarceration for allegedly pistol-whipping a man in his yard.

“Yeah, [the police] out to get us, man,” Boosie admitted. “They out to make examples out of rappers period because a lot of people don’t like what we do. A lot of people feel like we get rich off of bad things but we all entertainers. That’s how we make a living. We just gotta be careful.”

Don’t forget to grab Boosie Badazz’s Touchdown 2 Hell on iTunes and watch his thoughtful interview above.
