Rick Ross has been in jail since his arrest on June 24 for allegedly pistol whipping a groundskeeper at his home. Rozay’s bail hearing was today (July 1) and the judge granted him bond, but the rapper will be paying a heavy price for his freedom.

According to WSB-TV, Ross lawyer told the judge he is willing to put up $5M worth of property, and the judge agreed. Including in that $5M is $1M in cash as well as the home (Evander Holyfield’s old mansion) where the incident that put him in jail allegedly occurred.

Don’t expect Ross, a free man for now, to be in any trouble anytime soon with that type of cash on the line.

This story is developing.
