Everybody neighborhood is full has beens and shoulda-coulda-woulda streetball legends. Foot Locker decided to remember the story of Bobby Butter, a Billy Hoyle-type whose love for 90s-era wisecracks are almost as painful as his choice of attire.

After 2014 NBA No. 1 draft pick Andrew Wiggins proved he was no fluke by snatching up the 2014–15 Rookie of the Year award, Portland Trailblazers All-Star guard Damian Lillard has stepped in to mentor the young buck. Lillard was the league’s undisputed ROTY in 2012 so he knows a thing about accolades and not letting fame affect your swag–unlike Bobby Butter.

A chance encounter at the playground leads the two NBA stars to catch Butter in action, who still has the skills to hoop but looks utterly ridiculous. Which is where Foot Locker and adidas’ “Start Fresh” campaign comes in because, who wants to be the laughingstock of the peanut gallery on the sidelines?

The spot is also a sly ploy to reveal that Jimmy Kimmel can ball but it’s all good.
