A veteran Law & Order director has been arrested  for child pornography. Jason “Jace” Alexander, is charged with possession and file-sharing of obscene content.

The 50-year-old married father of two, is accused of downloading porn from his computer, which was traced back to him by authorities. One of the videos features a child between the ages of 6 and 8 years old.

Reports the New York Post:

Alexander, 50, of Dobbs Ferry, the only son of actress Jane Alexander, is accused of promoting the video – depicting a girl about 12 or 13 years old – by making it available for viewing in late June on the Torrent network, according to a criminal complaint.

He also is accused of having a video file depicting a 6- to 8-year-old girl performing a sexual act on herself, according to Investigator Andrew Garcia of the DA’s High Technology Crime Bureau.

Alexander was charged with felony counts of promoting and possessing an obscene sexual performance by a child. He posted $10,000 bail and is due in Dobbs Ferry Court on Nov. 19.

In February, Alexander filmed scenes in Hastings-on-Hudson for his upcoming DirecTV comedy series “Coop,” the Rivertowns Enterprise reported.

“We move quickly,” Alexander told the news outlet. “There’s always a lot going on.”

The prolific Alexander has directed more than 30 episodes of “Law & Order” and 19 episodes of “Rescue Me,” in addition to episodes of “The Blacklist” and “The Practice,” the paper reported.

Alexander faces up to seven years if convicted.
