Singer, fashion icon and thirst trap setter Rihanna will be joining the cast of NBC’s The Voice.

Pop star/provocateur Rihanna will serve as key adviser for “The Voice” in Season 9, it was announced Thursday by Peacock network president Robert Greenblatt at the Television Critics Association summer press tour in Beverly Hills.
Over the last three seasons, fun. frontman Nate Ruess, Taylor Swift and Coldplay’s Chris Martin have mentored contestants from all four teams during the second set of one-on-one showdowns (historically called the Knockout Rounds or Battle Rounds Pt. 2) — a broader role than the quartet of mentors who step in to advise individual coaches’ teams in the first set of Battles.
Rih Rih will be joining Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams. We’re guessing choosing the right selfie and how to land a creative director gig won’t be part of her specific duties.
