Joe Biden’s son, Hunter, says he never created an Ashley Madison account, even though his name popped up on the list. Hunter’s email address was used for the account, but since the birthday on his account is off by a decade (the date is correct), that’s proof that he didn’t actually sign up for Ashley Madison.

“I am certain that the account in question is not mine,” he said in a statement. “This account was clearly set up by someone else without my knowledge.”

Hunter was still using the email, after the Ashely Madison account was created, asserting that he had no knowledge of his name being on a cheating site, prior to conservative site Britebart cracking the case.

Spouses all over the globe are asking for forgiveness after the hack put their personal infidelity on display. Josh Duggar, from the cancelled TLC reality show 19 Kids and Counting fessed up to, and apologized for, having an account,  as did Jeff Ashton, a prosecutor on the Casey Anthony case.

The hack has disgraced so many cheating spouses that the company is offering a $500,000 reward for info on the hackers, but they’re also facing a $578 million lawsuit from unsatisfied customers who had all their personal indiscretions exposed to the world. Sadly, two suicides are being associated with the leak, although the exact motivation hasn’t been officially confirmed.

As for Hunter, the account that doesn’t belong to him, was created in June of 2014 under his name and email address (and possibly IP address). The account notes the married father of three as an “attached male seeking Females,” who’s looking for an “anything goes” kinda lady.  “This is, unfortunately, not the first time that someone has used my name and identity to try to discredit me,” added Hunter.

Hunter was charged $280 from the site, but again, he must’ve missed that payment when scrolling through his credit card bill. “From my understanding through press accounts, it is very easy to set up an account without someone’s knowledge as there is no requirement that an email address be verified and I am certain that is what happened in this case.”

Hunter, who is Vice President’s Biden’s last living son, was booted from the Navy last year after he tested positive for cocaine.

His dad is rumored to be planning a run for president.
