Tyga is in a bit of a legal tussle with his landlord over claims that he owes over $70,000 in back rent on his California home. The “Rack City” artist initially brought forth a lawsuit, saying he placed a $200,000 down payment on the home and the landlord had breached their contract agreement.

PEOPLE exclusively obtained court documents related to the matter, with the papers claiming that Tyga put down the massive amount of cash on the Calabasas home in a bid to purchase the property. Now, the landlord is claiming the 25-year-old rapper is being stingy with the greenbacks himself.

From PEOPLE:

Tyga’s lawyers say he and the landlord entered into an agreement in September 2014, when the $200,000 was put in escrow as a down payment for the $8 million property.

The property is near the $2.7 million mansion Tyga’s girlfriend Kylie Jenner moved into in June, ahead of her 18th birthday.

Tyga dropped his fourth studio album, The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty, which was executive produced by Kanye West.
