Fetty Wap told Hip-Hop Wired he wasn’t shy about his physical deformity, hence his unapologetic album cover for his forthcoming studio debut.

It’s a star-making attitude such at this that has the breakout Trap&B star making history on the Billboard Charts and his hometown of Paterson, New Jersey proud to call him their very own.

Paterson, as you may or not know, is the hood. The video for the 25-year-old artist’s hit song, “Trap Queen” has no qualms in showcasing this. However, home is where the heart is and a recent concert at Paterson’s Bauderle Field has given his community new life ahead of Fetty’s first release.

Lisa Evers for FOX News was on the scene and witnessed Paterson Mayor Jose Torres pony up the keys to the city for the dreadlocked star.

High school students in attendance reportedly received free t-shirts and French Montana also showed up as free guest.
