A shooting outside a Lil Durk concert in Philadelphia last night (Sept. 4) has left one man dead. It happened just outside of the Theatre of Living Arts on South St.

Reports the Philadelphia Inquirer:

Shortly after 8 p.m., police patrolling South Street witnessed a scuffle and heard gunshots in the 300 block, said Chief Inspector Scott Small.

Police rushed the 25-year-old man to Hahnemann University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 8:37 p.m. of a gunshot wound to the abdomen.

The shooting occurred two doors east of the TLA, where a large number of people were in line to get into a show by Chicago rapper Lil Durk, with supporting acts Hypno Carlito and Gunplay.

According to witnesses the shooter was dressed in black and fled out jumping into a limousine.

Three suspects—who were stopped in a limousine—are being questioned.

The shooting occurred before the Lil Durk show even started, and the authorities had the concert cancelled.

Not an ideal way to kick off Labor Day Weekend.
