Massachusetts police made a gruesome discovery Thursday, after the remains of a pregnant woman were discovered in pieces in the basement of a beauty supply store.
28-year-old Karneetha Sanders was found murdered at Flora’s Braiding and Beauty Supply in Randolph Square.
Local police arrested the woman’s ex-boyfriend 58-year-old Edward Aduayi after they traced the woman’s cellphone to the beauty supply store he and his wife own and found him in the basement.
Police say Aduayi had barricaded himself under the shop and when they asked him where Sanders was, he pointed to a barrel that contained her dismembered remains.
During police interviews the man reportedly told two different stories to authorities; at first claiming that the woman began stabbing herself for no reason while they were driving and ended up killing herself and then changing his story to say that she stabbed him in the finger and “ended up stabbed to death.”
Aduayi says he drove around with her body in the car until he could “figure out what to do with it” and admitted to police that he dismembered her.
