Like it or not, The Maury Povich Show has had the game on smash for 18 years. In turn, The Breakfast Club outdid themselves by bringing on Maury Povich as their guest this morning (Sept. 21).

While the majority of the convo revolved around baby daddies and “You are not the father,” Povich did manage to get deep.

When asked about the Black Live Matter movement by Charlamagne Tha God, he dropped nothing but real talk.

“I recognized it. I think it’s an honest movement,” said Povich, who comes from a hard news background and covered the Civil Rights Movement. “I think it’s something that’s been neglected and ignored. I think it should be taken seriously by all forms of government.”

He added, “I don’t like when there’s violence attached to it. But, I think knowing when I covered the movement back in the 60s, I think Dr. King would have approved of it.”

Bong.
