Rick Ross recently caught a serious allegation of sexual assault and rape by an unidentified woman accusing him of being guilty by a degree of separation.
While the multi-platinum rapper is denying any involvement on his end, he’s not excusing or blaming the alleged actions of his associate, Thaddeus “Black” James. The rapper born William Roberts II has released a statement through TMZ in efforts to help clear his name.
“It has been brought to my attention that serious allegations have been made against an independent contractor, who’s services I use often. And while I am not directly involved or implicated, as a man and a father, I take this very seriously. I don’t believe any woman’s safety should be compromised and she should never be forced to do anything outside of her will, regardless of the circumstances.”
Ross adds, “While I personally have no knowledge of the specifics surrounding these allegations, it is my hope that this is rectified quickly and with sensitivity.”
It has been a topsy-turvy year for Rozay, who has released critically acclaimed music on top of bigtime assault charges. Even his recent engagement announced was marred in slight controversy.
