Rob Kardashian has been out of the spotlight, but he made a big splash on social media Tuesday night by way of stunting for Instagram after posting texts and a selfie from Chris Brown‘s ex, Karrueche Tran. After he was slandered online, Kardashian deleted the tweet but not before explaining the nature of their relationship.
PageSix caught much of the chatter between Kardashian and the masses, as fans and gossip blogs hopped all over the news that he might be dating Tran. Kardashian and Tran both explained that the pair have been friends since high school, and had some choice words for one of the blogs that aimed some slanderous barbs in her direction.
After the fervor got to be too much, Kardashian just flat out deleted the post but as we all know the Internet is forever. To Kardashian’s credit, he kept it moving and posted up a flick of his sister Khloé’s ex, French Montana, in his most recent post on Instagram.
Who knows if there truly is a romance between Kardashian and Tran, but hopefully this latest firestorm blows over quickly.
