Talib Kweli has been releasing collaborative projects since the beginning lyrical inferno of his career so adhering to his strengths always a suitable option. Kweli made his rap debut opposite Mos Def on the now classic Black Star album and his Reflection Eternal follow-up with producer Hi-Tek.

In a new interview with HipHopDX’s DX Daily, the veteran MC alluded that his next joint with a 9th Wonder one.

“I’ve got an album with 9th Wonder coming out,” the Brooklyn-born rapper revealed. “That album’s got myself, Brother Ali, Hi-Tek, Krysis, Bad Lucc, Problem, Rapsody, Planet Asia, Migos, Pharoahe Monch, Slug from Atmosphere, I’m really, really happy about the place I’m in creatively.”

Last year, Kweli also told Hip-Hop Wired that he, alongside the North Carolina composer and Pharoahe Monch, launched a new conglomerate called Indie 500 that would give their independent hustle a major label operating system.

The Talib Kweli & 9th Wonder LP doesn’t have a release date as of press time.
