Rachel Dolezal’s name has surfaced back in the media but this time, it’s not her doing.

The disgraced former NAACP president who was caught lying pretending she was Black is getting her praises sung by one of music’s biggest singers: Rihanna.

The megastar artist has graced the latest cover of Vanity Fair but the topics were everything but fashion. When asked about the controversial civil rights figure, Riri opted not to take the route so many other celebrities took before her.

“I think she was a bit of a hero, because she kind of flipped on society a little bit,” Rihanna told Robinson during a reported late-night conversation. “Is it such a horrible thing that she pretended to be Black? Black is a great thing, and I think she legit changed people’s perspective a bit and woke people up.”

The pop music royalty also posed butt-naked on a mattress with lace bedsheets and explained how she felt on being a domestic violence poster child but nobody could get past the olive branch she extended to Rachel Dolezal.

Check out some of the most passionate reactions to Rihanna’s Vanity Fair article in the gallery. It hits newstands on digital and metropolitan newsstands on October 8 and the print edition will hit national newsstands on October 13.
