Gerod Roth, the Atlanta man who was recently fired from Polaris Marketing Group for a Facebook post with a co-worker’s child that spewed racism, is telling his side of the story and of course, he is saying he is innocent.

Roth, who went by the alias Geris Hilton online, sat down with Fox 5 Atlanta in wake of his termination and claimed his comment of “he was feral” towards 3-year-old Cayden Jenkins was taken out of context.

“A person said, ‘Oh, you mean to tell me that you just have wild kids running through your office building?’ And that’s when I said ‘He was feral,’ which of course was interpreted as racist, but that was, honestly, not my intention whatsoever,” Roth cried. However, after he initially posted the selfie, several of his friends begin to chime in with racist commentary. A man named Tim Zheng called the boy “Kunta Kinte” while another one named Graham Hansen uploading a picture of “Little Black Sambo.” A woman named Emily Irene Red was also reportedly fired for her partaking in the ridiculous racist storm.

Roth did nothing to dispel the mounting trouble and his comment was posted directly many racist thoughts and words but he still feels like he is being unfairly blamed.

“I just really feel upset, not only with myself but also with the character that was based off the comments that my friends had made. I feel as if, not only poor Cayden himself has been victimized but also myself for being targeted,” he incredulously continued.

Yeah, good luck with your next career endeavor, buddy.
