T-Pain recently held a listening session for his anticipated–and oft-delayed–new album, Stoicville: The Phoenix in Atlanta. Everyone who sat and enjoyed the project gets a “cool story bro” from the multi-platinum artist because he says he created an entirely new album since then.

As if, you would expect anything less from the studio magician. When asked about the Drake ghostwriting aftermath that has turned into rubble, T-Pain had this say: “The only thing I think people got shaken up about is when somebody says they are the best…then it kind of gets kind ‘Oh, you lied.” It’s like a Milli Vanilli thing. They were the best singers for a while until we found out they weren’t the singers.”

Tune in tonight (Oct. 13) on BET at 8pm to see T-Pain in action at the 2015 BET Hip Hop Awards.
