Rumors of Jon Snow’s demise were highly exaggerated. In what is one of the worst kept secret in science fiction television, the beloved Game Of Thrones character isn’t so dead considering he is in teaser images for the new season.
The show’s sixth season kicks off in April 2017, and Snow’s bloodied face is seen in an image HBO tweeted today.
In the A Song Of Ice and Fire series of novels by George R.R. Martin that the television show is based on, Snow takes an L much like he did last season. However, his alleged doom is left open ended in the latest installment, A Dance With Dragons (published in 2011).
Martin has said he plans to release the latest book, The Winds Of Winter, before the start of the TV adaptations sixth season.
. Either way, April 2017 can’t get here fast enough.
