Fetty Wap has plenty to be thankful for this upcoming holiday season, especially considering the year he has endured. Minus the scary motorcycle accident that caused him to break his leg, the Trap&B star illuminated the Billboard Charts with his name by becoming the first artist simultaneously chart his first four entries in the top 10 of the Hot Rap Songs chart in its 26-year history.

While shopping with his daughter Zaviera last Saturday at the Garden State Mall in Paramus, New Jersey, a sense of euphoria seeped through his artificial dreads and caused him to spread the love of his newfound wealth by tossing cash over the balcony of the multi-storied center.

“Got to see my daughter today,” Fetty Wap, born Willie Alexander explained on Twitter. Took her shopping and I was so happy I threw [$2,000] in the mall…never no who needed it.”

Unsurprisingly, the place doubled with pandemonium with the presence of his celebrity and dollars flying through the air.

Although the impromptu public charitable act seems like a good idea for a successful artist to do, it could also prove to be a risky, if not dangerous manuever. During the Christmas season of 2013, a man was arrested in Minnesota’s Mall of America for tossing money over the balcony in similar fashion to Fetty Wap. He was charged with disorderly conduct.
