The Golden Globe Award nominees are all in, and there is f*ckery afoot. Despite being critically acclaimed and a box office success, Straight Outta Compton did not receive a single nomination.

The films that did get nominated for Best Motion Picture were Carol, Mad Max: Fury Road, The Revenant, Room and Spotlight (did they get to see Creed?).

The Straight Outta Compton cast was also snubbed in all the best actor categories.

Will Smith did get a Best Actor nomination for Concussion. Other nominees of color, include Idris Elba for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting role for Beasts of No Nation, Taraji P. Henson and Viola Davis in Best Performance in a television drama for Empire and How To Get Away With Murder, respectively. Uzo Aduba (Orange Is The New Black) and Regina King (American Crime) picked up nominations for Best Performance by an actress in a supporting role.

Empire was nominated for Best Television series, and will be up against Game of Thrones, Mr. Robot, Narcos and Outlander.

Also worth noting, Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth’s see you again was nominated for Best Original Song for “See You Again” off the Furious 7 Soundtrack.

The 2016 Golden Globes go down on Jan. 10 live from the Beverly Hilton Hotel. Don’t expect Dr. Dre or Ice Cube to be there.
