Ty Lawson makes millions of dollars playing basketball but didn’t bother dropping coin get a driver to take the wheel when he shouldn’t have. The Houston Rockets point guard has been suspended two games for driving “while ability impaired.”

The Associated Press reports that the NBA commissioner made the announcement today. Back in July, Lawson revealed he was going to rehab after getting popped for his second DUI.

The suspension comes after Lawson plead guilty to charges that included driving while impaired after he left a Denver party back in January, according to EPSN. He will be sentenced on January and could possible get 180 days in jail. But that probably won’t happen.

Reportedly, the Rockets are looking to trade Lawson, whose play recently has been less than stellar.
