Lark Voorhies keeps trying to reset her 15 minutes of fame clock over and over with failure typically being the end result. The former Saved By The Bell star is back to her usual antics after adopting Raven-Symone‘s self-hate swag and declared that she’s no longer Black.
Voorhies took to Instagram to make the bold statement, trying to justify her new stances with some geographical factoids. Coupled with the words was a photo of Voorhies in a newly cropped blonde hairdo that supposedly hammers home her point or something, and her skin even appears to be a lot lighter in hue too.
“No, I am not black. I am American! I was born in America. I was not born in Africa, therefore I am not african. Africans are not african-americans! LV,” wrote Voorhies.
Someone should remind her that American isn’t a race nor a skin color. No doubt, one should be able to identify anyway they like. But to pretend to be something you’re not just because you slapped some bleach up in your naps doesn’t change the fact the world definitely sees you as a Black person despite your delusions.
