Early on in Kanye West’s Twitter run up to the release of his new album, The Life of Pablo, Yeezy posted a pic of Swizz Beatz working with him in the studio. Swizz called the session “epic” and it resulted in a pair of tracks on the album.

“I got two bangers on there I’m happy with,” Swizz told Hip-Hop Wired during an art exhibition at Sotheby’s he happened to curate. “One you’re going to hear me on, the other, you’re [going to] feel me with the production.”

He added, “[I’ve known] Ye for a very long time. He’s like my little brother OG. He got respect for me. I got respect for him. He never disrepcted me ever. He called me the best producer in the world at one time. I was like damn, ‘You really say that sh*t?'”

The respect is mutual from Swizz. We’re also going to assume the tracks remain after all the pre-release tinkering Yeezy has been up to.
