A Pennsylvania woman and her boyfriend were arrested Tuesday after police say they plotted to kill her mother by pouring quarts of scalding hot water on her face.

23-year-old Alisa Loump told investigators that she tried to murder her mother because she disapproved of her relationship and says she was on the phone with her boyfriend 18-year-old Antoine Walker of Edinburgh, Indiana when she got the idea.

Police report that when they went to arrest the woman she was on the phone with an ear piece in her ear.

Officers retrieved the ear piece and cell phone but noticed the line was still in use.

Police say they then identified themselves and asked who was on the phone, to which a man replied “Antoine”.

Antoine then allegedly asked police, “Are you arresting [Alisa] for what she did to her mom?”

When the arresting officers asked, “What are you talking about?”

Antoine answered, “For pouring water on her mom. You know that was 50/50? Her mom didn’t want us together so we came up with the idea to kill her mom using boiling water.”

Walker is believed to have encouraged her to pour eight quarts of water on her mother 49-year-old Jennie Loump so that she would die from shock.

The mother has 2nd degree burns to over 70% of her body and has been put into an induced coma for treatment.

She is in critical condition.

Walker has been taken into custody and will be extradited to Pennsylvania.

Both Walker and Loump are charged with attempted homicide and conspiracy.

Alisa  is also charged with aggravated assault and reckless endangerment.
