The tributes to Phife Dawg keep rolling in as Hip-Hop digests news of his death. An Atlanta anchor found a dope way to commemorate the tragically short life of the A Tribe Called Quest MC on live television.
Mark Arum of WSB-TV gave what will likely be a viral report of the traffic this morning (March 23). Arnum sprinkled some of Phife’s lyrics in his minute-long report, and gets an assist from another anchor for a quick rendition of “Check the Rhime.”
The whole thing is pretty fresh.
RIP Phife.
