The Game is really trying to live up to the “Robin Hood” moniker he bestowed upon himself. The Compton rapper recently posted an Instagram video of himself lacing a sleeping homeless man with a Ben Franklin.

In the video posted Wednesday night, The Game quietly walked up on a man sleeping outside what appears to be a strip mall and slipped a $100 bill in his hand.

In the accompanying caption he wrote:

“They call me “Robin Hood”…Don’t ever tell me there aren’t good people out here…I will show otherwise everytime!!! @therobinhoodproject is ALIVE!!!! This world is not lost..God don’t give up on us yet”

Of course, as with most of The Game‘s posts, people left their opinions about the rapper’s true motives. While some congratulated him for the act, others felt it was in poor taste to video tape a sleeping man without his consent, assuming that he never woke up and approved the post.

The donation is the latest act in The Game’s The Robin Hood Project, which aims to cure social ills in hoods across the country. The project gained attention when The Game donated $1 million to people suffering from the Flint, Mich. water crisis.
