For the first time since a nearly fatal overdose last October, Lamar Odom shared an update on his goals for the future. Entertainment Tonight caught up with the 36-year-old former NBA player at the Staples Center following Kobe Bryant’s final game Wednesday (April 13) night.

Watching his friend, and former teammate’s, 20-year-old career commence might have brought up some nostalgic feelings for Odom. He’s still very much in love with the game of basketball and plans to get back on the court” at some point. “I still got it,” he said.

As far as his personal life goes, Odom implied that the stories surrounding his medical emergency aren’t accurate. “Only few people know the truth and I just keep that close to my heart.”

He also didn’t seem enthusiastic at the thought of divorcing Khloe Kardashian. The reality star reportedly wants to go forward with the divorce, because Odom has started drinking again. “Everything is under discussion,” said Odom of his relationship with Khloe. “We can talk about anything, we been through a lot.”

Now that he’s healed up and out of the hospital, Odom will appear on the upcoming season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
