The son of Ol’ Dirty Bastard says he witnessed his father doing drugs hours before the Wu-Tang Clan member passed way in 2004. In an interview with VLAD TV ODB Jr. talks about the final day of his father’s life.
“He got as high as he could ever get and he told me to sit there and watch him. Eye-to-eye,” ODB Jr. said.
ODB collapsed at RZA’s 36 Chambers recording studio. His son visited earlier in the day. “He told me I couldn’t move nowhere. I used to smoke weed when I was younger but this was different.”
The son had already left by the time ODB too his last breath. ODB Jr. claims his father was seeing “angels,” before he passed away. “It was time,” he said of his death.“Time to elevate.”
ODB’s death was caused by a lethal cocktail of cocaine and the prescription pain medication Tramadol.
