Finally, a W for Meek Mill. The Philly rapper took home the Top Rap Album award at the 2016 Billboard Awards.

After a pretty harsh 2015, Meek Mill‘s 2016 is starting to brighten up. His album Dreams Worth More Than Money earned the Top Rap Album of the Year award at this weekend’s Billboard Awards. The album beat out Kendrick Lamar‘s To Pimp A Butterfly, Drake’s If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late, Drake and Future’s What A Time To Be Alive and Dr. Dre’s Compton.

None of the Hip-Hop related awards were aired during the telecast, but Meek, Nicki Minaj and Rick Ross made sure everybody knew by posting it on Instagram.
