The Game is returning to your televisions this summer to star in A&E’s 3-part docuseries Streets Of Compton.
Fresh off of celebrating the 10-year anniversary of his debut album The Documentary and the success of its 2016 sequel, The Game is sticking to the script he’s created for himself.
This June he will be staring in A&E’s Streets Of Compton documentary series.

Streets of Compton chronicles the city’s history and illustrates how the iconic music, culture and style that came out of the area in the ‘80s and early ‘90s were influenced by the drugs, gangs and political turmoil of the time. Additional exclusive interviews with current and former Compton residents include actress Niecy Nash, comedian Paul Rodriguez and musicians Lil Eazy-E, DJ Yella, Arabian Prince, DJ Speed, Tha Chill, MC Eiht, AD, Payso and Problem. The Game’s mother Lynette Baker, father G.A. Taylor and manager Cash Jones as well as Venus and Serena Williams’ father Richard Williams and former Black Panther Robert Johnson are also interviewed. Other Compton notables featured in the docuspecial include Mayor Aja Brown, former mayors Omar Bradley and Eric Perrodin; former Compton Councilwoman Patricia Moore, members of the Compton police department gang unit; gang experts and many more.
Similar to how his mentor Dr. Dre created the Compton album to be a soundtrack to Straight Outta Compton, The Game will be dropping an 11-track album to accompany film.
This is The Game’s latest foray into television. From 2012 to 2014 he starred in his own reality show, Marrying The Game on Vh1. And how could we forget his television debut on Change Of Heart in 2000.
