The great Muhammad Ali, born Cassius Clay, has passed away. He was 74-years-old.
The three time heavyweight champion of the world’s death was confirmed by family spokesman Bob Gunnell, per the New York Times.
Earlier yesterday (June 3), Ali was thought to be on the road to recovery after being admitted to a Phoenix-area hospital for a respiratory issue. However, by the end of the day news creeped out that the champ’s condition was much graver than previously believed.
