Mateen May Have Ties To Radical Islam
The FBI believes Mateen may have been influenced partly by Jihadist ideology, although the man’s father doesn’t believe that to be the case as he told reporters. People who are supporters of such ideology have praised the shooting, but ISIS and related groups are not claiming responsibility.
