Black Twitter never forgets. Justin Timberlake felt the wrath when a stray tweet about last night’s BET Awards quickly turning into the singer getting dragged for filth.

It all started when Timberlake bigged up—and rightfully so—Jesse Williams’ epic speech while accepting the Humanitarian of the Year award.

On cue, Timberlake got hit with all types of slander, with plenty of it dealing with nipple gate at the Super Bowl and his throwing of Janet Jackson under the bus. But the real problem was Timberlake reacted to a reporter’s snarky question.

And thus, the slander got real. He didn’t help his case with a series of more tweets that amounted to woe is me, stop bullying me, I love Black people, really I’m not a culture, lets be friends…you get the gist.
