Rising rap star Lil Uzi Vert was caught on camera spewing homophobic slurs and other insults at another rapper named Reese LaFlare.

Uzi Vert was seen and heard trying to attack LaFlare at the Day N Night festival last weekend in Irvine, Calif.

For those of you wondering why Uzi Vert would get so heated to react at the mere sight of another man like this, we present Exhibit A: Reese LaFlare’s song “180secs.”

Throughout the track Reese insists that Uzi stole his style, persona and even borrowed an album title from him. Some years ago Reese began releasing a series of mixtapes titled Reese Vs. The World. Earlier this year Uzi Vert released an album titled Lil Uzi Vert Vs The World.

The two rappers also have a history as both being protégés of DJ Don Cannon. Cannon hosted the Reese Vs. The World tapes and was an early co-signer of Reese. Cannon is also credited for discovering Uzi Vert and later signing him to Atlantic Records via he and DJ Drama’s label Generation Now.
