Cleveland Cavalier’s shooting guard Iman Shumpert is shooting while he’s hot. The hooper/rapper just dropped a new track called “Glory” after his brief cameo in Kanye West’s “Fade” video.

In basketball, this is what would be called a “heat check.” As the world is still salivating at the sight of his future wife and the mother of his child, Teyana Taylor, Shumpert is hoping to capitalize by dropping some new music.

The track is a sample of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ 2009 hit “Heads Will Roll.” Shump opens the song rapping:

“Ya’ll gonna pay for my struggle/ People love a true story/But people want you to suffer/ Cuz they ain’t never been in your glory/ They ain’t never had no money/ They can’t understand no shoppin'”

He also raps his sick shoe game saying that his kicks “are harder to get than my b*tch.”

Oh my.

What do you think of Shump’s bars? Are they competing with Damian Lillard or are they down there with Dwyane Wade? Let us know.
