You ever watch the news and stare at the screen saying “WTF is this” to yourself? Of course you have. But have you ever seen a news anchor do it, while on the news?
Washington D.C. anchors Wisdom Martin and Maureen Umeh did a great job at a trick that television anchors are taught early in the game, talking with their eyes. What they said probably can’t be uttered on-air though.
When Good Day DC ran a segment about a study identifying the elements of a “desirable face” Martin and Umeh put their best faces forward to call BS.
Obviously, this study concludes that a “desirable face” consists of certain kind of nose, mouth and anything else that doesn’t have anything ethnic about it. We applaud Martin and Umeh for this grand side-eye performance.
Umeh is having a good time seeing her reaction too.
