If you’re looking for motivational words over trap beats, Tamiko Hope’s Experience Hope project is the perfect listen for you.
Veteran publicist Tamiko Hope has combined two of her favorite things, inspirational messages and 808 drums, to create a one-of-a-kind project for people who can read Think And Grow Rich while bumping Thug Motivation 101.
Experience Hope features Hope offering words of encouragement and advice over beats provided by Grammy-winning and multi-platinum producers Zaytoven, Sonny Digital and DJ Spinz and Dun Deal.
Hope, who is an avid Jeezy fan, says that she came up with the idea after a conversation with her client Zaytoven.
“He originally suggested I make some kind of mixtape and he’d provide all the beats,” says Hope via press release. “I thought it was brilliant but I decided to add other producers that I’ve represented over the years and make it a motivational album instead.”
The 12-track project can be listened to in the car, in the gym or at work. Hope says she made the project for people who, like her, work in the entertainment industry. However, the messages can be appreciated by people from other walks of life as well.
“This was a special project for me because I feel like this may really help somebody stay the course in such a challenging industry,” she says. “There’s constant rejection, let downs, moments of doubt and uncertainty, all struggles I know well, which is why I crave success and inspirational talk. I’m an avid believer in the magic and power of affirmative words and how they can truly change your mental trajectory.”
Hope’s client roster has included Outkast, Goodie Mob, Usher, Metro Boomin, Nipsey Hussle and Janelle Monae. She is also the author of The Indie Insider book series with titles that include 10 Key Facts from Music Industry Insiders and 5 Key Facts To Building Buzz From Music Industry Insiders.
