What would you do if someone mushed a pie in your face?

Kevin Johnson was known as a “nice guy” during his time playing in the NBA. He used that same “nice guy” image to get into politics after he retired and wound up becoming the mayor of Sacramento, Calif.

But as we all know, there are no “nice guys” in politics. Evidently someone missed that memo and thought it would be a good idea to run up on KJ and put a pie in his face on some clown sh*t. But as a wise man once said, “Homey don’t play that.”

The East Bay express reports:

Sources in attendance have told the Express that, during the meal, a protester ran at the mayor and threw a store-bought pie in his face.

After this, the protester reportedly said something to Johnson, which prompted him to allegedly tackle the protester and punch him in the face “repeatedly,” more than half a dozen times, landing many of them.

One witness described it as a “bloody pulp.” Ambulances and fire department arrived on the scene.

There were nearly 200 in attendance at the dinner, including a few dozen high-school students, according to sources.

After the event, sources say Johnson was given a change of clothes and then addressed the audience at the podium, apologizing, and receiving applause.

Old school NBA heads know that KJ has been with the sh*t for a while now. Long before the infamous “Malice In The Palace” between the Indiana Pacers and Detroit Pistons back in 2004, Johnson was the guy who started the epic brawl between the Phoenix Suns and New York Knicks back in 1993. This brawl was the one that effectively changed how NBA games were officiated from that point on.

So, needless to say, if KJ was knucking with the Charles Oakley‘s of the world during the “No Babies Allowed” era of the NBA, what do you think he’d do to some bozo throwing pies?

No video has surfaced of the incident, yet. Stay tuned.
