What a difference a year makes. The Carolina Panthers took another L—falling to the New Orleans Saints 41-38—and during QB Cam Newton postgame, he sighed and sulked his way through the press conference before abruptly walking out.

Reports Deadspin:

Newton was excellent in his return from a concussion, but Drew Brees was better, especially facing a pair of rookie cornerbacks, and the Panthers’ furious comeback went for naught when Brees led the Saints on an 11-play, 41-yard drive to set up a winning field goal with 11 seconds left. It’s not a surprise that the question that drove Newton from his microphone after a laconic, 90-second press conference, was about having to helplessly view that final Saints drive from the sideline.

Oh yeah, the Carolina Panthers are now 1-5.

Stay woke. As for Colin Kaepernick
