Meek Mill has been the target of Drake’s disses for about a year now. He admits that the disses were “hot” but didn’t think they were pure venom.
In an interview with Taxstone, Meek shares his thoughts on Drake’s “Back To Back” in particular. When asked what he thought about the track, he offered:
“I ain’t think it was no shit that people was gonna be like, ‘you got killed.’ I thought it was hot. Like when we shoot at niggas, you gotta shoot a nigga through the heart. When you wake up in the mirror, you looking in the mirror, you hearing what the nigga told you, some shit about yourself that you can’t even deal with. That’s how we battle where we come from.”
Later in the conversation, Meek Mill ponders if Drake really hit him hard with the bars. Taxstone also asks him why he never responded. That’s when the clip stops, giving you a cliffhanger for when the full interview drops next week.
