Dave Chappelle is hosting Saturday Night Live on Nov. 12 and A Tribe Called Quest will be the musical guest. Wow.

Variety broke the news Friday afternoon. This will be the first time that Chappelle is hosting the iconic sketch comedy show. It is also one of the rare times that Chappelle will be in front of a national television audience since he walked away from his highly popular Comedy Central show Chappelle’s Show more than 10 years ago.

With more than enough going on in the news with President Barack Obama leaving the White House, Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump becoming the next president, or the Black Lives Matter movement and the numerous celebrities putting their foot in their mouths behind it, Chappelle’s appearance should be epic.

There is no word as to how involved he will be in the show. Most hosts open the show and play a role in numerous skits throughout the night. Let’s hope that Chappelle is as prolific as possible. We most definitely need him in a “Black Jeopardy!” skit too.

In an extra treat, A Tribe Called Quest will be the musical guest of the night, performing new music from their upcoming album We Got It From Here…Thank You 4 Your Service that drops one day before.

Grab your popcorn, this will be epic.
