T.I. has become one of Hip-Hop’s most politically outspoken artists of late, and was on the front lines of a Donald Trump protest this week in New York. In so many words, the Atlanta veteran said that Trump’s election to the White House could be the signal to spark to an impending race war.

TMZ reports:

T.I. is happy to be on the front lines in what he calls a race war in the wake of Donald Trump’s election.

We got Tip leaving Le Jardin in Hollywood Thursday night, and he gave us the lowdown on his motivation to hit the streets of NYC with other protesters.

Sounds like we’re in for a long 4 years … as far as he’s concerned.

Tip’s parting words, “every war has casualties on both sides,” was a chilling reminder of the fearmongering campaign of Trump and how it did appear to embolden racist viewpoints across the nation.
