Whatever Donald Glover aka Childish Gambino is smoking right now, please get him some more of that. If you were impressed by his first single “Me And Your Mama” then you will be swept away by this offering.
“Redbone” has Gambino channeling Bootsy, Prince and Outkast with a hint of Martin Luther, urging the listener to “stay woke.” Just like the previous song, this joint is full of favorite parts, especially at the end. Some fans may be wondering where the rap is, but we aren’t mad at what Gambino is trying this time around.
