In the newest episode of Hip-Hop Collectors, acclaimed photographer Shannon McCollum shares his photo album and stories behind the pictures.
Some of you were introduced to Shannon McCollum as Lil Yachty’s dad in our interview with him earlier this year. But, before his son became a famous rapper, McCollum was making a living taking pictures famous rappers all of the time.
In the latest episode of Hip-Hop Collectors we stopped by McCollum’s space to take a look at some of his work with Lil Wayne, Erykah Badu and Pastor Troy. He also told us stories about how he got put on by being Outkast’s photographer and his current work as the official photographer for The Comedy Get Down tour.
