What took so long? Ronald Gasser, the man who shot and killed ex-NFL player Joe McKnight in a road rage incident has been arrested and charged with manslaughter.
Glasser killed Joe McKnight on Thursday, Dec. 1. He was questioned and then released without any charges being filed.
Today (Dec. 6), the Jefferson Parish Sheriff department’s website shows that Gasser was booked yesterday on manslaughter charges, and his bond is set at $500,000.
Reportedly, Gasser fired all three shots that killed McKnight from inside his vehicle. McKnight was standing by the passenger side window of Gasser’s vehicle while the shooter was in the driver’s seat.
From the eyewitness accounts, the fact that Gasser wasn’t arrested right away is ridiculous. Considering the recent mistrial of a murderous cop, we won’t hold our breath when it comes to justice for Joe McKnight.
